The left joystick and D-pad buttons work alternately. How do I fix this?

To solve the alternate work buttons you can you press the capture button twice.

I can't use the audio port for Android devices and even when attempting to connect it to a PC. How do I fix this?

The audio port is currently only compatible with PC and Switch platforms. To use it on both platforms, you'll need to toggle the mode selector switch (marked as number 17 in the user manual) to switch mode.
